| It is a very hot and muggy day. You desperately want something very cool and refreshing to quench your thirst and revitalize your body. What would you drink & why? -- either make your own or store-bought. Michele The only thing I really like to drink is water – boring for some, but for me it does the trick – but it needs to be ice cold out of the fridge. Now if I wanted something to eat to cool me off – that would be soft serve Carvel vanilla ice cream – Yum! Mark I don’t look at beer as being revitalizing but it has its own rewards. But if I were to put in terms of revitalizing I would consider an Arnold Palmer – iced tea mixed with lemonade. One of my favorites. Dona Cold water, no ice, with lime – preferably drank at the beach! Shawn Homemade lemonade with freshly squeezed lemons and chunks of lemon floating in the glass. Nader Come on – nothing beats a cold beer on a hot day.
Kristie On a hot, steamy and muggy day I would reach for a very cold pitcher of lemonade or iced tea to quench my thirst. I would mix up my own, adding large chucks of fresh squeezed lemon and a little fresh mint. If I was mixing up something alcoholic it would be a Mojito with lots of ice and fresh mint or a margarita with a nice salty rim! Yum! Kristina I might sound boring, but nothing quenches my thirst like a nice tall glass of ice water with lemon! Now if I were on the beach on this very hot and muggy day, I might be ordering Michelob Ultra Dragon Fruit Peach, or the Lime Cactus or Pomegranate Raspberry (they are all good)! | | | | | | | |
